About the event
Birth is one of the most transformational experiences of a woman’s life. Oftentimes, society asks mothers to “bounce back” after the wild endeavor of pregnancy and birth. There is no space for slowness and integration. There is no one to acknowledge your initiation. We are here to remedy this madness and see you in your journey. We are here to build a village and to meet you in the depths of your motherhood. We are here to listen.
We will sit together in a circle, and witness each other's birth stories. We are here to hold the grief, joy, and everything in between.
This circle is for all women who have given birth. It does not matter if you have an infant, an adult child, or have experienced a birth that did not result in life. We want to hear your story.
