Your Path to Care: Costs & Coverage
At Lingua, we want connecting with us to feel simple and stress‑free. We share our rates upfront so you always know what to expect, and we’re here to answer questions as you explore the best fit for your care. We are a out of pocket, fee-for-service, private‑pay practice and do not work directly with insurance.
To make things even easier, we’ve gathered quick answers to the questions we hear most often, along with a clear, compassionate overview of how our rates, payment process, potential insurance reimbursement, and policies support the work we do together.
How much do services cost?

At Lingua, our pricing reflects more than a service—it’s an investment in your ability to eat, sleep, speak, and breathe better. We believe in the life‑changing impact of therapy and are committed to walking alongside you on that journey.
This is a partnership: when you invest in yourself, we invest our expertise, time, and care to help you reach your goals. In return, we ask that every client come ready to be active, engaged, and consistent in therapy—because your commitment is key to lasting progress.
Do you take my insurance?
No. We do not bill or communicate directly with any insurance companies. As a private‑pay practice, this allows us to provide the highest‑quality evaluations and treatment sessions without the limitations insurance often places on therapists (such as required authorizations, shortened sessions, or group‑only models).
If you’d like to seek reimbursement, we can provide a superbill for speech‑language and feeding therapy. Before requesting this from us, we strongly recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm whether they reimburse for out‑of‑network services. Once they give you the go -ahead, we can provide those on a monthly basis.
Superbills are not applicable for oral myofunctional therapy or sleep services.
Since you do not take insurance, how does it work?
We are a private pay, fee-for-service company.
There are 3 steps to getting started:
1. Find the type of service you want and book a time/day that works best for you on our booking page. Confused? Don't hesitate to reach out.
2. Complete the intake form provided once you select your time slot. You will be required to put a card on file. *
3. Attend your appointment!
*In the event your intake form and card information has not been completed prior to your appointment, we cannot see you and you will be asked to complete this prior to rescheduling. This allows us to best support you.
How do I pay?
We accept credit and debit cards. You also can accept FSA and HSA cards. You will be asked to put a card on file during the intake process.
No cash or checks are accepted in our clinic.

Do you collaborate with others?
Absolutely! Whether it is a doctor, dentist, family friend, consultant, or simply a loved one who wants to be involved in your care, we can connect and collaborate. We do require you to add them to your release of information upon intake and if you need to add a new family member, parent, or doctor, simply update your release of information here!
Can you come to my home?
If you are in Luzerne or Lackawanna county, we can try to come to your home for evaluations and sessions that are $175/$150 per 60 minutes but only if we have a therapist available; otherwise, we have a conveniently located clinic at 457 N Main Street Pittston, PA. You can find parking and entry support here.
Most of our in home appointments in NEPA are for new born babies and we can also meet you at the hospital. We do not charge more to come to the hospital.
If you are in Doylestown PA ( Bucks County) we can provide in-home speech therapy, oral myofunctional therapy, and breast/bottle/starting solids therapy (20 mile radius)$175/150.
If you are in Montrose, Colorado, we can provide in-home infant feeding ( bottle/breast), infant massage, adult head/neck massage, or oral myofunctional therapy for ages 5-64 - $175/150.
Please note, all of our sleep services are virtually and we do not offer in home support at this time.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves an opening that could have supported another patient, so we require 24 hours’ notice for any changes or cancellations. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed entirely, will be charged the full appointment fee to the card on file. You will not be charged if you reschedule; however, repeated late reschedules or cancellations may result in limited scheduling options or a pause in services to ensure consistency of care.
Re-Evaluation Policy
To make sure we’re giving you or your child the most accurate, developmentally appropriate care, we require a new evaluation when there’s been a gap in services—after 6 months for children 24 months through adulthood and after 3 months for children under 24 months. A full evaluation (standard fee: $175) and updated documentation are completed each time. This allows us to reassess skills, update goals, and ensure therapy is truly matched to who you or your child is right now.
